History
Bath became a City in 1195, having been given a Royal Charter. The River Avon running through it and this is spanned by Brunel's Cloifton Suspension Bridge.
The City of Bristol in Somerset is a City undergoing immense change. From the new Shopping developments around Broadmead, to the now established Cribbs Causeway complex, there is plenty to support the keenest shopaholic. Bristol was traditionally a seafaring City and the SS Great Britain is here, being restored. Old Bristol still exists including the 'Nails' where Merchants traded and which gave rise to the phrase 'cash on the nail'.
Attractions
Bristol and the surrounding area has a number of Attractions from Bristol Zoo to the Waterfront, bursting with Nightlife. Tyntesfield, owned by the National Trust is just to the South.
